Armani Dolci, Armani aesthetics and lifestyle… in the world of taste

«It’s really true: I love (dark) chocolate very much!» – Giorgio Armani, founder of Armani Dolci.

Who said that fashion is only clothing? Sometimes even food is trendy! This is demonstrated by Giorgio Armani with his highly sought-after Armani Dolci collection.
–
The Armani Dolci line was created in 2002 with the aim of giving a voice to the culinary taste, to the sweetness of the well-known Italian boutique. The first shop to open was the one in Milan, in via Manzoni 31. Following this, others were inaugurated, even outside Italy. New York, Tokyo, Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Munich, to name a few. The most recent is the corner inside the brand new Emporio Armani Caffè e Ristorante in Bologna, located inside the historic Galleria Cavour, a true reference point for international luxury shopping.

Giorgio Armani said: “Bologna is an important tourist destination and I am particularly proud of this opening in one of the most significant shopping areas in the city. This second Emporio Armani Caffè in Italy is part of the Group’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Italian catering sector. The balance between local and international is vital for us, and is in line with Emporio’s message, which has a modern and metropolitan style.

Armani Dolci specialties offer a universe of refined and surprising tastes. The first quality ingredients used are processed following ancient recipes linked to the Piedmontese chocolate tradition. Everything is enclosed in an elegant packaging that reflects the attention to detail and the research of design.

Armani Dolci products are varied. There are pralines, which offer a unique taste experience, offered in different cocoa blends: 85% and 75% extra-dark, 60% and 56% dark, milk and white. The pralines, decorated by hand or with the iconic letter “A”, are available in pure, filled and cremino versions. Careful selection of raw materials, such as Criollo and Forastero cocoa, Piedmont IGP hazelnuts, Bronte pistachios and Sicilian oranges. Then there are the classic chocolate bars, also embellished by the iconic letter “A” by Armani and available in five refined cocoa blends: 85% extra dark, 75% extra dark, 60% dark, milk and white. The same goes for chocolate squares, designed to be accompanied with coffee.

For the most fancy palates, Armani Dolci offers delicious dragées, IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont, whole and in caramelized grains, almonds, Sicilian oranges and berries, immersed in dark chocolate 60% or 56%, or in milk chocolate.  There also spreads, jams and honeys of Italian origin which are not subjected to any industrial treatment and are available in delicate and refined flavors such as orange, eucalyptus and sulla. The offer of hot chocolate and tea is not far behind, which are distinguished by the use of the whole leaf, which infuses a softer aroma and a rounder taste. All blends are contained in natural muslin gauze filters, sewn by hand, to preserve their aroma. Armani Dolci also thinks to accompany these sophisticated blends with excellent frollini biscuits, rigorously handcrafted, with selected ingredients and also decorated with the iconic letter “A” by Armani, as well as sugar cubes. Fruit jellies and marron glacées end the vast proposal of the Armani Dolci world with a bang.

As it happens with clothing, then, even in the sweets sector, Armani offers original collections, linked to anniversaries or particular periods of the year. For example, for the autumn season, Armani Dolci offered a selection of chocolates and a limited edition packaging inspired by the colors of the Giorgio Armani Fall / Winter 2017 collection. The classic pralines with a perfectly square shell are offered in two original flavors: 56% dark chocolate, filled with candied blueberry cream, and 75% dark chocolate, with apple filling. Both have the colored surface, respectively blue and green, thus reproducing the color of the package.

The packaging is well cured in its details and last year it was inspired in the form of the traditional Bento Box. The pralines, in fact, are contained in square boxes covered according to the Japanese method with sheets of wrapping paper in bright shades of blue and green, sealed by the two-tone satin ribbon with a silver logo. The small boxes that enclose the new pralines can be purchased individually, or in combinations of two, three or four boxes, containing assorted dragees,  red fruit dragees or chocolate squares. The classic package of 16 pralines is also available and it is encased in the precious blue and green two-tone satin pouch.

Armani Dolci is a gift idea that should not be underestimated. You can also purchase products from your computer, by connecting to the dedicate site. You just have to take a look and let yourself be tempted by one of the delicious proposals of the colorful Armani Dolci world.
